Dongle is Shazeda Ahmed and Xiaowei R. Wang. We are a small research consultancy focused on transnational, social implications of tech. Together, our work spans multiple continents, scales and medium. Our work has been supported by Mozilla, the National Endowment for the Arts, Open Society Foundation and the US Department of State, and profiled in The Markup, BBC, The New York Times, WIRED and more. As collaborators, we bonded over a love of riot grrrl music, the rainy winter weather of Hangzhou and dumplings.
